Queenscliff is literally surrounded by beautiful bay beaches with crystal-clear water and gentle swells – ideal for all swimmers.
The beautiful and largely undiscovered ‘back’ beach runs from the top (southern) end of Hesse Street all the way around to Point Lonsdale (approximately 5km). A ‘boardwalk’ services about half of this distance.
The first surf beach on the western side of Port Phillip Bay is also at Point Lonsdale and well worth a look, even if you don’t swim!
Lifeguard patrols operate during summer school holidays.
